Alison Brooks (Guelph, Canada, 1962) has become one of the most internationally recognized British architects, winning the United Kingdom's three major architecture awards:  the RIBA Stirling Prize, the Manser Medal and the Stephen Lawrence Prize. Much of her career has focused on residential work, but her educational and cultural projects, such as Cohen Quad, Folkestone and the renowned Smile pavilion, also stand out.

This monograph extensively and detailedly covers her trajectory over the last 20 years across 386 pages, documenting each project exhaustively with abundant photographs, plans and construction details.
