Ilse Ruppert is a freelance photographer who has lived and worked between Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and Berlin. In the late 70s she started to portray the Punk and New Wave scene but also actors, painters, and writers for reports and features in national and international magazines. She is part of these artists who frame reality and transforms it into art. Few photographers have such a gift to express the essence of live spectacles. Contains images of: Dennis Hopper, Blixa Bargeld, Nena, Ramones, Kraftwerk, Jeff Bridges, Keith Richards, Christiane F., DAF, Nina Hagen, Dead Kennedys, Iggy Pop, and many others.
