A Brief Stroll Whilst Inspecting Architecture
A brief stroll whilst inspecting architecture by Rohan Hutchinson was created between 2007 and 2013. This beautiful work looks at Japanese architecture and it's relation to it's surrounding environment. Created using a large format camera in locations such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kanazawa and remote Hokkaido, the work is a rare insight in contempoary Japan, which places an emphasis on how architecure can be used to posit a social, economical and geographical survey of the sorrundings.
This publication is 28 pages and beautifully printed in Japan by Yamada photo process on Takeo fine art GA paper, and bound saddle stitch style using hand tied Japanese Cotton.
